Relay for Life
As most of you know already Relay for Life is taking place on Sat 26th – Sun 27th May and that the club is taking part
The main event is a 24 hour walking relay starting at 6:00 pm on Sat 26th and finishing at 6:00 pm on Sub 27th May We need volunteers to take part the relay.
Our plan is to have a minimum of two people on duty at all times during the 24 hours so we are going to need as many people as possible to take part.
We are proposing overlapping two hour slots. For example Person 1 does 6:00 to 8:00, Person 2 from 7:00 to 9:00, Person 3 from 8:00 to 10:00 etc., etc..
Can you all let Peter Cunningham know if you are prepared to do a stint and what 2 hour period(s) you are willing to cover
We would like to have the schedule finalised by the Club Committee meeting on Thursday night next.
Spouses, friends and neighbours are all welcome to take part According to Seamus Devine the best crack is between midnight and 5:00 AM.
